John McCain for Change

Quotes from the McCain Campaign:

Now is not the time to affix the blame. It’s time to fix the problem. I would hope that all our leaders, all of them, can put aside short-term political goals and do what’s in the best interests of the American people” – Senator John McCain

“Obama Stood By, Did Nothing, And Showed No Leadership On The Bailout Negotiations.” – Republican National Committee

“Today that process broke down and it broke down quite frankly from partisan attacks from Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi on the floor, and quite frankly after a partisan attack, Republicans chose to fold their cards and rather than rise above those attacks they chose to walk away from the bill.” – Douglas Holtz-Eakin, McCain’s Economic advisor

Source: Huffington Post . . . yeah the reporting is pretty much biased.

And if you enjoy tax information check out the NYTimes.com article Misleading Claims on Obama’s Tax Plans. The article states that LESS than 2% of the population makes over $250,000. Obama wants to tax those folks while giving about 90% of the population some kind of break. What’s the today’s mathematics?

3 OBAMA KEYS TO WINNING A DEBATE!!

Obama is the Great Debater

  1. Agree with your opponent frequently.
Your opponent may need your help in strengthening their position. And not to mention, audio/video clips are really great out of context.
  2. State the facts in an academic, logical manner.
Let’s be clear, the facts must be clearly outlined, even when you’re opponent often presents opinions as facts.
  3. Do not directly address insults.
When your rival states that you do not understand or are naive, simply brush it off and do not offer any witty responses.

Americans loves a good fight. Many American fans really don’t care for a defensive display of skills that often win championship games or fights. Defense is often viewed as boring and not as exciting as offense. See: San Antonio Spurs, Lyoto Machida, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the Super Bowl 35 Champions Ravens. People want to see champions and leaders take risks and go for the win. No matter how reckless or impulsive that course of action may be, American fans just loves some one who appears to be the aggressor. After all, which phrase sounds better “Bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran” or “prepared meetings without pre-conditions.”

While I don’t think anyone won the first debate, read: won over the undecided and independent voters, I think some one failed to laced up their gloves and go for the knock-out punch.

More importantly, since I want real change, was any 3rd party candidate even invited to this presidential debate?

How To Become a Hip Hop Star: A Series

A series of cheesy Quick-n-Dirty sequential drawings exploring the hip hop music using expert analysis, keen insight and extra useless hyperbolic nonsense. Word to Mahfood!

This post was inspired when I was doodling while finally listening to the Incomparable Shakespeare’s mixtape project The Miseducation of Franklin Rossman which commemorates and honors Ms. Hill’s debut solo CD. The project is package really well and there was some serious thought put into it. You can rarely say that about a mixtape or a major released album.

DOodles for the DAy

Smile. Cheers! Have a Good Day!

Will Obama Get Tough??

Obama Opposes Privatization and DeRegulation
Click here to view the larger image. Trust me, you will really like it!!

Here’s a quick Obama in a loose style. Do you like the small, dark, calculating, evil-looking orbs for eyes?? For a 20-25minute drawing, it’s not bad but still crappy. I don’t really know how long it took me, but it was kind of quick but still pretty decent.

Instant Political Pundit Time:
Hopefully during the debates, Obama will attack the Straight-Talk Express. Throughout his career McCain said and will say anything to get his name and face in the papers. You don’t need to read Matt Welch’s Myth of a Maverick to find many flip-flopping McCain statements. Whether he’s for de-regulation or regulation, against privatization or vaguely telling the public that private savings accounts are part of the solution along with Bush’s plans, McCain’s Straight Talk Express often sounds conveniently modified.

In the wake of the recent economic woes, what do you think would have happen if Social Security* was privatized and handled by . . . Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, AIG or maybe Morgan Stanley which may be partially owned by Japan’s largest bank Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.

*Last note, whether you like NBA basketball, follow the Dallas Mavericks, or READ THIS FAR, check out Maverick’s owner Mark Cuban’s blog. He has some really interested views and posts.
“Senators McCain and Obama, failure to  recognize that what the financial markets went through changed the fabric of our economic model and in turn the impact of your economic policy is completely irresponsible.” - Mark Cuban

Graf Piece in Progress

Should be finished this over the weekend. I don’t care for this piece too much, I’ll try again at a later date. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

UFC 91!!!
Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei “the Axe Murder” Silva*
Kenny Florian vs. Joe Stevenson
Nate Quarry vs. Damian Maia

*Surely Jackson’s earlier losses to Silva will weigh heavily on his mind, but his upcoming court case may also affect his performance. I think he should consult Kobe Bryant because I don’t think anything can affect his game. Wanderlei via BRUTAL TKO.
