A lil preview of something new !

Here are some sketches. I guess I’m getting a little lazy because there’s nothing but floating heads. More to come, I will try to end 2007 with 2 or 3 illustration project.

These characters are highly influenced by the extra-expressive hair styles of the late 80′s and 90′s. The super-off-geometrical and intricate designs were are inspiring. Unfortunately, every once in a while I see some one walking around with a cameo-afro or ‘gumby’ cut.
– Now who flat-top rules in ’89?
Win or Lose, Nick Diaz is one of my favorites fighters. His face was cut up horribly, the doctor did the right thing. A great striker will win all day. Diaz not only puts in an effort in the ring but as far as professional athletes goes, he gives entertaining interviews.
What about f—— putting chemicals and using prescription drugs that actually kill people (when they overdose)? F— that. It’s obvious they kill people. Homegrown herbs don’t kill people. They don’t.

I do triathlons. I’ve done f—— 112-mile bike rides and 26-mile runs all in the same event. You can do it high, it feels great loaded.

(Laughs.) I’m like I better smoke some weed or something. I’ve got to worry about going home and not breaking my leg and making the next fight. If I miss another fight I’m going to be out of f—— money. I need to fight so that I can eat. Organic food costs a lot of money.

But I’m not really happy with any fighter’s pay, though. Like any MMA fighter’s pay. Period. I’m not happy with any of us going on TV and immediately the next day not being set for life. It’s like c’mon dude, we’re going on television here. On Showtime; on Versus; on pay-per-view. Know what I mean? And we’re f—— rock stars, dude.
I wanted to finish coloring the whole figure but then I got lazy and gave up, hopefully in the near future I’ll hook it up.
Scritch character..the skulls are here to stay. I started doing these b4 the craze.
