I didn't finished this illustration and now I don't intend to any time soon. Creating this was frustrating because it is not as good as what I set out to do. Oh well, I'm still learning. I'm happy with the results for now but dismayed that I wasn't able to complete my vision. There are a couple of mistakes that stem from a weak initial drawing. I was trying to combine lights and dark with a rainbow of colors in an interesting way. I'm a big fan of chiaroscuro and light aberrations in images, they work well with sports images, I'm trying to work that magic. The close-up is a bit more interesting, I see many possibilities in the layered colors. When I was tired and beyond frustrated I stopped and cheesed it out with Street Fighter-style power-rays. Adding pixie dust to the power rays did cross my mind. And for good measure, I recalled the cover for Michael Jackson's Thriller and made his wrist band glow.
I'm working version B that will definitely include the current LH champion, and plan on posting it tomorrow before the fight. I'm going to have Chuck front and center in his wide-arm victory pose. I will attempt to "ice" him out a bit with light and maybe ice particles if I can accomplish that. Rampage will be an imposing figure in the background with his chain. Posting tomorrow, hopefully. I'm confident that it will look fine.
Who's winning this competition, I don't know and I do not have any favorites. I know I will be highly disappointed if some one wins via submission, but I doubt that. Just as I can see Rampage being dropped with the looping overhand punch, Lidell can be overwhelmed by a barrage of punches or ground and pounded. Who knows, if this last for more than 2 rounds we might see some of Lidell's kick-boxing or jui-jitsu skills. Whatever, the fight should be crA-Zy!! The undercard is alright.
For those of you that want to see the fight in advance, you must click here. Shogun . Vale Tudo ! And make sure you check out Gonzaga in those clips, hilarious.
More mma pieces to come. Pistons win Game 1 and Game 2 against the Cavaliers 79 - 76. Some one is going to win a lottery. Those numbers do not lie.

I'm facing some creative challenges that needs work and further exploration. Dedicating time to what you want to do can be difficult at times when you have many responsibilities like the 6.5 children and 2.5 mothers + the unforgiving, emotionless family court system. Just kidding, my life is not that complicated.
More accessible art on yellow stickies, highlights done digitally [Ps]. Random anonymous dude, I saw on a party site. Eventually I'll draw people I know, maybe my one of my nephews.
Quick, crappy and fun drawings.
I'm still struggling, here's the numbers from yesterday's run:
- 1st mile: 9'24"
- 2nd mile: 11'49"
That's a horrible drop. If there's any running folks checking out this site, take note, the Nike+ GPS is great. Hearing "200 meters left", helps a whole lot.

Done with red pencil and a regular No.2 pencil on a yellow sticky. There is some digital manipulation in Ps, the white highlights. This drawing could be better but I can live with it. Real pencils win.
Like I said here in the title here's a couple more joints I was playin with today. Have a look see-
