It feels really weird when I don’t post. I’ve been sketching but I’ve been too busy and mentally drained. When I say sketching, I probably mean chicken scratch on a yellow stickie at work. Ok, time to feed the blog and time to feed the infant.
I spent the last 3 weeks going straight to the hospital’s NICU (NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit) after work to hang out with my son. He recently had surgery and thankfully every thing is fine. Now he’s home and the real work begins.

This heatwave is killing me, I need a cool breeze. I think I’m back on a sketchy schedule. Sketches of the sleeping infant coming soon.

This special collaborative art was produced in 41 weeks and 1 day. Completed on July 7th 2010, I call this piece Xavier.

Very productive weekend, I’m excited. For some reason I really like the way this drawing came out. I think I’ll have the confidence to finish some long overdue comic book projects. I particularly like how the head came out because I was not trying to make it pretty, I just tried to draw it and finish it. I’ve been drawing some cool and crappy stuff this weekend but I’ve been drawing some what consistently. FUN!
